WBPSC Miscellaneous Admit Card 2026 Out: Prelims on 4 October
If you've been preparing for the WBPSC Miscellaneous exam for months, here's some welcome news. The West Bengal Public Service Commission has released the admit card for the Miscellaneous Recruitment Service Examination 2024 (Advt. No. 13/2024). It went live on 22 September 2026, so you still have a few days in hand before the exam. Until you're holding that hall ticket, the exam doesn't feel quite real, and now it does.
Exam Date and Timing
The preliminary exam will be held on Sunday, 4 October 2026, in a single shift starting at 12 noon. Different sources report slightly different closing times, so treat the timing printed on your own admit card as the final word.
How to Download Your Admit Card
- Go to the official website, https://www.psc.wb.gov.in.
- Open the Candidate's Corner section on the homepage.
- Click Download Admit Card (https://psc.wb.gov.in/admit_card_download.jsp)
- Select the Miscellaneous Prelims link for Advt. No. 13/2024.
- Log in with your Application/Enrolment ID (or first name) and date of birth, then download.
Once it's downloaded, read the whole card carefully. Check your name, roll number, exam centre and reporting time. If something looks wrong, contact the Commission now rather than the night before the exam.
What to Carry on Exam Day
* A printed copy of your admit card (take a spare)
* An original, valid photo ID such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport or Driving Licence
* Recent passport-size photographs
The exam is offline, so it's worth checking the route to your centre in advance and planning to arrive early.
What Happens After the Prelims
The selection process has three stages: the objective-type prelims, a conventional-type written final examination, and a personality test. Through this recruitment, candidates are selected for posts such as Revenue Inspector, Block Welfare Officer, Assistant Programme Officer and Investigating Inspector, among other administrative and departmental roles. So the prelims is only the first hurdle.
